The Shoalhaven Lydian Singers presented ‘Pastime with Good Company’ and were joined by musical friends ‘Trilogy’ and ‘Trio 42′. The Lydian Singers had great pleasure in presenting music performed throughout time from 20th century musical adaptations of well known rhymes, to JC Bach’s ‘The Magnificat’, to Henry VIII’s 16th century’s composition of the program title. Trilogy sisters Joy, Kathy and Robin Sharpe performed their own pieces with folk and South American themed songs. Trio 42, Vicki McCartney on flute, Jim Dorrington on guitar and Anne Stuart on cello, performed separate pieces from baroque to contemporary.
